Doug Lampman aka Izzy MooN has been playing music since 1974 when he started his first band in High School. Growing up in Chicago in the Seventies i was exposed to the best Rock and Roll & Blues bands in the world. Those influences can be heard in my styling and song writting. I have had the privilege of working with such greats as John Lee Hooker,Pine Top Perkins,Madison Slim,Eddie Shaw, in the blues world.As well asJGB's Melvin Seals,David Kemper,and Marty Holland from the San Francisco crew. I was privileged to do an albumwith Betty “Boots”Cantor of Grateful Dead fame.Toured with JGB did shows with the

I now make my home in Idaho were my former band Bone Daddy originated.I am really excited about my new venture, The Izzy MooN Band,Jim Davis on Drums and Dave Kirkland on Bass .We are a smoking trio that love to Jam, Original material as well as some cover classics. We will have a new CD out late this year 2018. Looking forward to seeing you all soon as we hit the road to play more shows. Hope you enjoy the archive and the music.
Savor the Moments
As a performer/composer people always ask me what is my inspiration for my music. It’s been my life and the wonderful crazy things that i have experienced. My wife, my family, my friends. The places and faces of all those whom i meet.

In your life as in our music, Live to the fullest, Have love for everyone and everything and you will be surprised at what life will bring. The more you give the more you get. Remember this don’t ever forget and you will have a life with no regret !
